Hello

Hello and welcome! My name is Susanne Hartke and I’m an artist and art educator based in Avon, NY, with a BFA from Alfred University. I’ve been teaching middle and high school art since 2000, guiding young artists while nurturing my own creative voice. Now, I’m returning to my personal practice and focusing on painting as a way to explore the beauty and energy of the landscapes around me. My work blends bold color, texture, and intuitive mark-making, inspired by nature and everyday moments. I’m currently building a body of work and pursuing opportunities to exhibit and share my art more widely.
